A Bit About Me
Hello! I'm delighted to introduce myself as a therapist specializing in pregnancy, postpartum, and family work, with a particular focus on children between the ages of 0 and 5 and their caregivers. My passion lies in utilizing the transformative power of movement and dance to enhance the well-being and bonds between families during these crucial early years of childhood.

With a deep understanding of the unique challenges and joys that come with pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood, I strive to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for families to explore their emotions, strengthen connections, and foster growth. I support families to build attachment and attunement skills through the use of nonverbal strategies. I firmly believe that movement and dance offer a language beyond words, enabling individuals to express themselves authentically and tap into their innate creativity.
My journey in the field of dance movement therapy began with a strong foundation in dance, which I developed through years of training and performance. This background, coupled with my academic studies in psychology and therapeutic approaches, has equipped me with a holistic understanding of the mind-body connection and the profound impact it can have on overall well-being.
Work Experience
April 2019 - July 2023
September 2018 - February 2019
My role at Seneca Family of Agencies was to run parent support groups and provide individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and to create social-emotional learning videos for classrooms and families at schools serving ages 0-5 and K-12. I also supported the school setting by facilitating child review team meetings to include a holistic social emotional support system for each child's individual needs.
Kidango is an early head start program that has 50+ preschool and child care centers in the East Bay Area. My role as a behavioral health clinician was to provide community-based in-home and in-school therapy for the population served by Medi-Cal, specifically the EPSDT.
August 2017 - August 2018
The Mariposa Center provides comprehensive creative arts-based therapeutic and educational services in order to promote greater health and well-being in the lives of young children, families, and their systems of care. In my role as a Clinical Intern, I worked with children using creative arts therapies, specifically dance movement therapy.
